DESCRIPTION:NVFG Basiscursus Pharmacovigilance (Geleding PPN) \nWat houdt farmacovigilantie (pharmacovigilance\, PV) eigenlijk in? Wat moet je allemaal weten en kunnen met betrekking tot de veiligheid van geneesmiddelen wanneer je bij een farma- of researchbedrijf gaat starten? Bijvoorbeeld in de functie van Drug Safety Officer (DSO) of PV-medewerker\, bij de afdeling Registratie\, Medical Affairs\, Clinical Research\, of als Medical Liaison\, etc. \nVoor alle nieuwe collega’s die meer van PV willen/moeten weten\, organiseert de geleding PPN jaarlijks 2 opleidingsdagen bestaande uit een Basiscursus en een Verdiepingscursus die onafhankelijk van elkaar gevolgd kunnen worden. Sprekers zijn een mix van PPN-bestuursleden en externen. \nDoel \nDe opleidingsdagen hebben als doel om de deelnemers te introduceren in de farmacovigilantie van humane geneesmiddelen in Nederland. De meeste aandacht gaat uit naar de dagelijkse praktijk. \nVoor wie is deze cursus bedoeld? \nDe Basiscursus is bedoeld voor alle nieuwe collega’s binnen de farmaceutische geneeskunde die in hun werk met farmacovigilantie of de Drug Safety afdeling te maken hebben. \nDe Verdiepingscursus is voornamelijk is bedoeld voor beginnende DSO’s (0-1 jaar ervaring). \nAchtergrond \nHet monitoren van geneesmiddelenveiligheid (farmacovigilantie; pharmacovigilance; PV) en het daarbij behorende risicobeheer (risk management) zijn van vitaal belang voor ontwikkelaars van geneesmiddelen\, vergunninghouders en klinische onderzoekers. \nNaast de algemene wettelijke verplichting van farmaceutische bedrijven om de volksgezondheid te beschermen\, komen er steeds veeleisendere regels vanuit de diverse overheden als het op geneesmiddelenveiligheid aankomt. \nOmdat elk farmaceutisch en biotechnologisch bedrijf de gezondheid en veiligheid van de patiënt voorop heeft staan\, is het voor deze bedrijven van groot belang ervoor te zorgen dat zij efficiënte systemen voor geneesmiddelenbewaking hanteren en dat alle personeelsleden zich bewust zijn van de daarbij behorende (basis)vereisten. De rol van de PV-afdeling binnen deze systemen is essentieel. \nHoewel de benaming van de PV-functies van bedrijf tot bedrijf kan verschillen\, is de taak van alle lokale Drug Safety Officers hetzelfde: ervoor zorgen dat de veiligheid van de patiënt bij gebruik van de producten van het bedrijf is gewaarborgd en niet in het geding komt. De DSO neemt daarmee een bijzondere plek in binnen een farmaceutisch bedrijf. \nWelke vaardigheden neemt een cursist mee naar huis? \nDe cursist maakt kennis met de essentie van geneesmiddelenbewaking\, overheden en (Nederlandse) wetgeving. Ook krijgt hij/zij een goed beeld van de positie en rol van farmacovigilantie binnen een bedrijf. De cursist leert diverse relevante instanties in Nederland en de EU kennen. \nNa afloop wordt een certificaat van deelname toegestuurd met vermelding of het afsluitend examen is behaald. Indien niet behaald\, kan het examen in overleg opnieuw afgelegd worden. \nSchrijf je snel in!  \nKosten:\nNVFG Leden: € 250\,– (excl. BTW)\nNiet-leden: € 400\,– (excl.
